WELCOME TO THE WINONA ARCHERS
The Winona Archers are located in the South East corner of Minnesota on the banks of the Mississippi River. Our archery club has many activities through out the year to promote the sport of archery. Founded in 1953, the purpose of the Winona Archers is to expand and perpetuate the sport of archery in all its aspects; to establish, operate and maintain a range or ranges for the purpose of tournaments designed to create interest and development of the archer's skill; to encourage the use of bow and arrow without fringing in the rights of others; to foster and promote improved public relations with landowner's, sportsmen and sportsmen's organizations alike. Registration begins at 7:00am. Scores in by 4:00pm. There will be 28 3-D targets on the range including our Raptor. So bring the kids and let them shoot a dinosaur. Wednesday Night League! The Winona archers are in process of upgrading the targets on the range. Beginning in the summer of 2007, we set up the 1st half (14 targets) and the main practice bunker with "BLOCK" targets. In the sping of 2008 we will complete the renovation of the range and place "BLOCK" targets on the 2nd half. (targets 15-28) Check them out on the Block Website. These targets will be used for league and practice for club members. They will also be used for the WCFAL archery league, when it takes place at the Winona Archers archery club. Directions: From Winona take Interstate Bridge to Wisconsin. Turn Left at the stop lights heading North on Hwy 35. Go approximately 1.3 miles and turn right on gravel road (Third road on the right).
